BaSIC - Baltic Sea Innovation Network Centres
BaSIC aims to build a “Baltic Sea Archipelago of Innovation”. The objective is to create a seamless working environment for fast growing innovative SME all over the Baltic Sea Region, embedded in a reliable network of leading Science Parks and clusters. Emphasis is given to identify, select, train and coach SME-gazelles, i.e. to provide them with harmonized access to markets and to help them access funding for internationalisation and growth.
The project consortium consists of leading Science Parks, incubators and innovation facilitators with strong support of 10 Baltic Sea Capital Regios (incl. Oslo and St. Petersburg). In particular, there are strong links and joint presentations with the sister project JOSEFIN regarding funding issues of SME. To expand to new partners and regions, the project is open for cooperation and exchange with other projects.

NEW EOS - EurOffice Services
NEW EOS helps entrepreneurs set up a business outside their home country by providing well-equipped office space with local services and putting business people in touch with relevant R&D decision makers, new customers and partners and local experts.
EurOffice Services are:
- A kit of business services for small innovative companies which facilitates access to international markets.
- Delivered by many parks, Business Innovation Centres, High-Tech Incubators and Science Parks worldwide.
- Assistance in prospecting new markets.
- Guidance to access local markets
- Meetings with regional decision makers

KNOW MAN

Know-Man is an INTERREG IVC Project aiming to improve regional development and spatial innovation policies by using tools of regional Knowledge Network Management. With this aim, 15 partners from six European regions have joint their forces to improve the regional cooperation between public authorities, the research community and innovative small and medium sized enterprises. Know-Man implements Knowledge Management instruments (e.g. knowledge atlases, benchmarking, acttionreviews) to identify and connect regional cross-sectoral and cross institutional knowledge potentials within the participating regions. The focus of this project lies iontriple helix structures – the interconnection between public authorities, economic actors represented by technology parks, and academic representatives to create links between regional endogenous potentials in the knowledge economy. Know-Man specifically intends to improve policies in favour of innovative SMEs.

BSR INTERREG IIIB Tacis
SPb InnoReg - Promoting Regional Innovation System in St. Petersburg through Transational Cooperation
SPb InnoReg is an outcome of cooperation between 12 partners in the Baltic Sea Region. The project aims to promote sustainable economic development and competitiveness in St. Petersburg and Northwest Russia.
The objective is to strengthen the regional innovation system (RIS) in St. Petersburg and improve the utilization of the region’s innovation and research potential through transnational cooperation. SPb InnoReg improves international networking and collaboration between regional authorities, universities, technology centres and enterprises. The project will also bring closer Russian and EU notion on innovation system to ensure better cooperation possibilities between Russia and the EU in the field of fostering innovations.

Berlin Adlershof and the Science City Selenograd

Berlin Adlershof and the Science City Selenograd have agreed a partnership on economic and technology cooperation. The partnership was initiated as a result of a meeting of Senator Wolf with the Prefect of Selenograd in Moscow 2008
Special emphasis of the cooperation will be given to:
- Optics and Photonics Technologies
- Microsystems and Materials Technologies
A partnership agreement was signed on April, 22nd 2009 in Moscow during the Moscow exposition Photonics 2009 – World of Laser and Optics.
