Adlershofs Technology Centers
900 Corporations – 400 of which are high- tech companies – with over 15,000 employees and a turnover of around 1.6 Billion Euros: that’s the economic power of the Germany’s leading Science- and Technology Park Berlin Adlershof.
Our six Technology Centres are working at full capacity. The new Centre for Microsystems and Materials (ZMM) was well received, as much as the new Centre for IT and Media (ZIM3). The Centre for Photovoltaics and Renewable Energies (ZPV ) is under construction.
The Adlershof Center Management now operates four local offices, which enable the centres’ directors to stay in close contact with companies. This way, customer requests can be handled quickly. A further important task of the directors is their involvement in innovative professional networks to establish new contacts and initiate cooperations.
Networks
Apart from the involvement in the network Optec-Berlin-Brandenburg (OpTecBB ) e.V. and BioTOP , Adlershof became a member of IVAM e.V., the leading German professional association for microsystems technology, nanotechnology and new materials. The Competence Centre Thin-Film- and Nanotechnology for Photovoltaics Berlin (PV comB) operates its first testing plant in Adlershof.
Adlershof is present at numerous professional events. Some of these are: Photonics West (San Francisco, USA ), CeBIT (Hannover), Hannover Messe, Laser World of Photonics (Munich), Bio International Convention (Washington D.C., USA ), InterSolar (Munich), EUPVSE C (Hamburg), the MST -Conference (Darmstadt) and Biotechnika (Hannover).
