International Colloquium on Science Parks
In Berlin, we have built Germany’s most state-of-the-art Science and Technology Park. Today, we look back on 18 years of successfully developing our City of Science, Technology and Media in Berlin-Adlershof. At the same time, we have the pleasure to celebrate 100 years of this creative and innovative technology site.
To commemorate this special anniversary, WISTA-MANAGEMENT welcomed a lot of experts from science parks, politicians and local decision makers to participate on the
International Colloquium on Science Parks and Innovative Regions hold in Berlin Adlershof on September 9th 2009.
On this day, international experts and many top-class guests from different science and technology parks and regions discussed a number of current issues and important aspects of science and technology park development, such as:
- What are the strengths of a modern Science and Technology Park (STP)?
- What kind of efficient support and services can a STPs offer to innovative SME companies?
- How can a cooperative network of international, high-standard STPs be established?
- What are the most useful infrastructures and services that park managements have to offer?
- In which way can STPs contribute to sustainable regional economic growth?
In Berlin Adlershof, all participants used the great opportunities for debating, meeting friends and celebrated a very unique event with us.
The event started with a workshop and was followed by a ceremonial colloquium. The event closed with a dinner debate and an impressive speech of our Mayor of Berlin Mr. Klaus Wowereit.
