Photovoltaics and Solar Energy in Germany, Berlin Adlershof
Solar Energy in Germany has a home: Berlin-Adlershof. Around 20 innovative solar companies are active in the field of photovoltiacs and solar energy, including: Calisolar // Global Solar // Institute of Equipment Construction (ifg) // Sentech Instruments // solon AG // Sulfurcell.
In 2010 the turnover was more than 1 Billion Euros. In 2011 the new Center for Photovoltiacs (ZPV) will be opening, with 8,000 m² of laboratory, hall and office space.
Solar Energy Cluster with a focus on:
- Thin-layer photovoltaics V (CIS / CIGSe and Ds-Si)
Our Partners in Solar Energy: Helmholtz Center Berlin for Materials and Energy with BESSY II and PvcomB // Leibniz-Institute of Crystal Cultivation // The Institute of Analytical Science // Analytical Institute Federal Institute of Material Testing (BAM) // The German Society for Non-destructive Testing (DgzfP) // Physical Technical Federal Institute (PTB)
