With Dr. Zsuzsanna Heiner, Head of SALSA Photonics Lab

During this tour, Dr. Heiner gives a presentation on her current research at the SALSA Photonics Lab. She gives insights in their laboratory routine and her career path until today and, of course, some general information about the graduate school SALSA. The tour is aimed at doctoral students, postdocs and master students.

Dr. Zsuzsanna Heiner is Head of Photonics Lab. She holds since 2015 the Julia Lermontova Fellowship in optical microspectroscopy, DFG GSC 1013 (Excellence Initiative). In 2013, she defended her thesis in Physics at the University of Szeged for her project “Study of bacteriorhodopsin and coenzymes using femtosecond time-resolved spectroscopy”

SALSA, the Graduate School of Analytical Sciences Adlershof, was established at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2012 in the framework of the German Excellence Initiative. The program offers a structured, three-year period of multidisciplinary research combined with an integrated curriculum in Analytical Sciences.
