The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures, and markets analytical instruments for electron microscopes, X-ray systems and components, allowing materials characterization down to the nanoscale.

We are looking for a Senior Controller (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin.
 

Responsibilities

We offer a new opportunity for an experienced finance professional to support Bruker Nano Division Finance, located in Berlin, in forecasting and reporting business and strategic planning. In this position you collaborate closely with the Order Management and Export Control teams to support achievement of Bruker Nano sales targets, and you provide the Sales Forecast and related reports to the Management Team.

• Lead the cross-functional team in its weekly order review process
• Collect, analyze and interpret sales data to provide insights and recommendations to management and the sales force
• Develop the sales forecast, and prepare management reports for the BNA Division
• Assist VP Finance in the strategy and budget processes, including independent communication of goals and coordination of submissions with the various worldwide Bruker Nano locations.
• Compare targets and actual business results (monthly and quarterly) for BNA in total as well as for the single business units and involved Bruker entities
• Maintain and develop financial models and tools to support sales reporting and forecasting
• Be the primary FP&A contact with BNANO group Controlling and other Bruker legal entities
• Identify gaps and potential for improvement in terms of profit enhancement and expense reduction
• Other plant and divisional controlling activities as needed
• Ensure that BNA division activities fully comply with regulations and procedures (compliance), especially regarding revenue recognition rules.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline, required
• 3-5 years’ experience in controlling-related roles requiring strong analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the company, in a friendly and professional manner
• Good SAP FI/CO knowledge and excellent Excel skills. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, databases and dashboards.
• Strong business analysis, financial planning and reporting skills that generate business insights.
• Current knowledge of trends in finance and functional best-practices
• Self-motivated individual able to independently plan and manage work
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships across the company at Group, Divisional and Corporate level. Enjoys working with colleagues from different countries and cultures.
• Very good communication skills in English and German.
