If you intend to pursue a scientific career as a postdoc, the ability to raise third-party funding is one very important building block for your career.

Experts from the Research Service Centre will provide an overview of the major national funding agencies. The most important funding lines suitable for the career development of postdocs will be presented based on their funding goals and requirements. The course provides impulses for developing your own strategy for acquiring third-party funding and practical tips on the application type, administrative steps for submitting an application and other aspects relating to the application.

The workshop consists of two parts: One week in advance of the workshop (16 February 2023) all participants will receive an input presentation for independent preparation. In an interactive session on 23 February 2023 (via Zoom) the participants have the opportunity to ask questions about the content of the presentation and their own third-party funding strategy and to exchange ideas about third-party funding.
