About the IKZ International Fellowship Award
The IKZ International Fellowship aims to bring a renowned scientist to the institute for scientific exchange and to shape a new R & D direction at IKZ. In 2024, the prize will be awarded to an outstanding scientist in the area of crystals for photonic applications.
The IKZ International Fellowship amounts to 10.000 € and will be awarded within the framework of this workshop.
Winner of the IKZ International Fellowship Award in 2024 is Prof. Dr. Clara J. Saraceno, Head of Chair of the research group ‘Photonics and Ultrafast Laser Science’ (puls) at the faculty for electrical engineering of the Ruhr Universität Bochum, Germany. Prof. Saraceno is working in the field of ultrafast laser technology, where she explores new areas of coherent light generation and applies her uniquely tailored ultrafast sources to better understand chemical, biological, and physical processes.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Registration is not required.
