Active and past projects:
With our current project we collaborated with Fraunhofer IVI, where we've demystified the acoustic landscape of drones, leading to the deployment of a sophisticated classification system and a comprehensive database of drone recordings. We proudly offer this database free for public access, where it serves as a rich repository of drone-related auditory data. Not only can this classifier be used to identify drones but also spurs innovation in monitoring technology, creating safer skies and more informed regulations. The implications of this classifier extend far beyond drones, together with neuromorphic chips we want to yield transformative tools for predictive maintenance in industries, accelerate wildlife behavioural studies to safeguard natural habitats, assist in the prevention and spread of bark beetles in European forests and more.
