Promoting young talent and STEM projects for pupils and teachers in Berlin
The shortage of non-academic skilled workers in Germany is increasing. For demographic reasons, there are fewer young people and many skilled workers are retiring. And when it comes to choosing a career, the trend is towards university studies. However, this is not a prerequisite for professional success. Whereas school students used to apply to companies, today companies apply to young people.
The focus here is on the so-called STEM formats. At the Adlershof Technology Park, we take care of the next generation of scientists, both for the university sector and for dual training. Specialized training networks, school labs and numerous events for children and young people make Adlershof an experience for the younger generation – and your partner for securing our young talent.

For trainees
The High Technology Education and Training Network (ANH) focuses on the topic of "dual training". The ANH, based at the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut (FBH), connects companies, research institutions, vocational schools, universities, social partners and other multipliers.
In 2019, the association proANH e.V. was also founded to support its members in recruiting trainees as well as in training and further education. To this end, various events are also held to inform young people, parents and teachers about dual training courses and a wide range of opportunities for further training. Pupils can apply directly for internships and courses in the joint school laboratory MicroLAB. Interested teachers are offered guided tours for school classes, which provide insights into everyday working life in high-tech professions.
The Vocational Training Centre for Chemistry (bbz Chemie) at Bildungswerk Nordostchemie e.V. organizes industry-related training in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
The annual Training Alliance Adlershof offers a good opportunity for pupils from year 9 onwards to get to know training companies and professional fields in the high-tech sector at the Adlershof Science and Technology Park.
For prospect students

Pupils learn at the university, listen to lectures, experiment in laboratories and explore the library.
At the university as a place of learning, they can gain experience and orient themselves professionally. At the same time, they experience the campus and get to know study procedures, university teachers and students as part of their school lessons.
