Discover Adlershof's cultural scene
Open-Air Cinema at the Adlershof Technology Park
Winding down your workday with a little culture?
Culture x Science at Work at the Adlershof Technology Park will make it happen. This summer, WISTA Management GmbH, in collaboration with the Hörsaal Kino Adlershof, invites you to an open-air cinema under the Adlershof night sky.
3 evenings, 3 films
Biopic, science fiction or showbiz drama?
Decide for yourself, because over three evenings (25 August, 2 September and 8 September) we’ll be screening three completely different films: “Hidden Figures”, “Arrival” and “The Greatest Showman”. The films will be shown in their original versions with German subtitles. We’ll get you in the mood for each film with a short, entertaining or informative pre-show.
Where? In the backyard behind the WISTA main building, entrance via Volmerstraße 2
When? Doors open from 6.30 pm, programme starts at 7/7.30 pm.
We look forward to seeing you!
Save the dates:
August 25: Hidden Figures
Pre-programme*: Do you, like the female mathematicians in the film, enjoy maths and brain teasers? Then look forward to our competition, which we’re running in collaboration with the ‘Känguru der Mathematik’ (a maths competition for schools). At the ‘Känguru der Mathematik’ stand, you’ll find tricky arithmetic, brainteasers and puzzles to get your thinking caps on before the film starts. Anyone who solves the problems will receive a small prize.
September 2: Arrival
Pre-programme*: Together we’ll explore the fascination with alien life. An expert from the German Aerospace Centre’s Institute of Space Research gives us an insight into exoplanets and joins us on a search for life beyond earth.
September 8: The Greatest Showman
Pre-programme*: We’ll set the mood for the film with some music. Come and enjoy a special evening that combines cinema and concert: Before the film begins, the Adlershof “Studi-Big-Band am Campus” will perform songs from the film and selected highlights from their own repertoire live on stage – full of energy, rousing and atmospheric.
