PRORA Conference on Process-Related X-Ray Analysis
-
IAP Institut für angewandte Photonik e.V.
Richard-Willstätter-Straße 11,
12489 Berlin
How can X-ray-based analytical methods be utilised in-process to produce new energy storage devices efficiently and cost-effectively from recycled materials from old batteries containing lead, mercury and lithium, for example?
Given the considerable energy requirements for the timely analysis and evaluation of the large volumes of data generated during such online material analyses, what compromises are both possible and necessary when using artificial intelligence?
What new applications are emerging for non-contact and non-destructive analysis in industry and applied research – and which instruments, measurement and quality assurance methods need to be newly developed for this purpose?
Up to 150 experts from companies, universities and research institutions in Germany and abroad will come together to discuss these and many other complex issues at the 13th Conference on Process-Related X-Ray Analysis on 26 and 27 November. Once again, this long-established event at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing in Berlin-Adlershof is being coordinated by the IAP – Institute for Applied Photonics.
In addition to experienced specialists, this dialogue event – accompanied by an industry exhibition – is specifically aimed at students. They pay only a nominal conference fee, which is waived entirely if they give a presentation themselves.
