Narrow line width made affordable

eagleyard Photonics unveils the very cost effective, frequency stabilized Ridge Waveguide Laser product series (RWS)

High quality and cost effectiveness can perfectly match if combined properly within a single component. This does at least apply to eagleyard’s new stabilized ridge waveguide laser diode series where the narrow line width has been built in already rather than combining a variety of hybrid elements.

With its monolithically integrated on-chip wavelength stabilization, this new product line provides an outstanding performance in terms of long-term stability of center wavelength and power. Owing to its excellent uniformity, an outperforming single frequency operation and a line width of less than 0.1pm, even demanding applications such as Raman spectroscopy, metrology and interferometry can be served with these products. The new series of RWS lasers is being offered in a TO package for the following wavelengths: 633/760/785/850/1064/1080 nm.

“Complementary to our premium DFB and DBR offering with this new, cost effective RWS product line we are taking an important next step towards securing our long-term competitiveness in the market”, comments Michael Kneier, VP Sales and Marketing at eagleyard.

“The new laser series - already chosen by OEM accounts - strengthens eagleyard’s role as a trusted supplier of high power laser diodes, giving customers access to a component solution for cost sensitive applications without having to accept any trade-offs concerning product quality”, explains Kneier further about eagleyard’s motivation of this product launch.

Qualified products are available for immediate order. Please check our website http://www.eagleyard.com/en/products/ridge-waveguide-laser/ for further information about this productline.
