Younicos achieves ISO 9001:2008 certification
One of the first companies in the energy storage industry to reach this level of standardized excellence
Younicos, a global leader in intelligent grid-scale energy storage solutions, is pleased to announce that it has received ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems certification from the international certification body Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA). The award certifies all aspects of the company’s business, with specific procedures put in place to evaluate and improve key processes, ensuring that customers continue to receive outstanding service and support.

McDougall, CEO of Younicos. “It recognizes that Younicos has a process management system in place that meets the stringent ISO standards, and that our exacting data-driven operational methods are of the highest order. It further demonstrates a commitment to superior management policies and continuous quality improvement.”

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards and its strict criteria are recognized worldwide. The ISO 9001:2008 requirements are among the most rigid of the over 19,500 International Standards published by the organization. They serve as a model for quality assurance in all facets of a company’s business, including project design, development, production, implementation and service.
