The Adlershof Research Forum (AFF) is a full-day conference co-organized by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, IGAFA e. V. and WISTA Management GmbH and serves as a platform for location-based scientific exchange in Adlershof. It provides an overview of current local research – the ‘Adlershof knowledge’.
To mark the conclusion of Berlin Science Week, the Adlershof Research Forum offers lectures and short presentations on current topics by leading researchers and business representatives from the Adlershof Science and Technology Park.
The conference is accompanied by a poster session, which offers the perfect opportunity to present your own research to a wide audience, receive valuable feedback and make new contacts. It begins with a pitching session, during which participants have one minute each to present their posters. The pitch is a quick way to draw attention to your research and spark the audience’s interest.
Why is it worth taking part?
Gain visibility: Present your research and its progress to the interdisciplinary Adlershof community.
Receive feedback: Take the opportunity to gain valuable feedback on your research and gain new perspectives.
Network: Meet other researchers, expand your professional network and discover new opportunities for collaboration.
The best poster will receive a prize of €500; second place will receive €200 and third place €100.
Registration for the poster session: Please register your poster here by 16 October 2026, including the title and abstract.
In the run-up to the event, you have the opportunity to take part in an online workshop entitled ‘Secrets of Impactful Poster Design and Presentation’ on 21, 22 and 28 September 2026, from 09:00 to 12:00 each day. The workshop is organised by the Adlershof Graduate Centre and the Humboldt Graduate School. The workshop will be held in English. Register here.
