Impulse lecture & discussion with Eva Gottwalles (Scienza)
Care work and an academic career are often difficult to balance as both place different—and sometimes conflicting—demands on individuals. In this online discussion, we will examine the obstacles that exist within and outside the academic system related to care responsibilities. We will explore what typical difficulties arise and how they can be addressed in practice. At the same time, integrating care thoughtfully can be a marker of effective and professional leadership. After the talk, participants are invited to share their own experiences and ideas in an open discussion.
