WISTA-MANAGEMENT GMBH will open the Centre for Photovoltaics and Renewable Energy (ZPV) in the science and technology park

The attractive building follows an "architecture of dialogue" that focuses on transparency, social encounters and communication. Its central design element is the building-high, well-lit foyer with its galleries, and the sculptural, self-supporting spiral staircase providing lines of sight between all the floors.

Specifically for companies from the Photovoltaics and Renewable Energy sector, the ZPV provides 8,000 m² rentable area.  Service companies, software developers, storage technology companies, solar architects, specialised lawyers, solar craftsman etc. will all find a perfectly matched research and working environment here. From office space and labs to production halls, all is prepared so that tenants can immediately start operations.

On the ground floor the ZPV provides 2,000 m² divisible hall area, a work shop room of 500 m² and a canteen with 100 available seats inside. The halls are overbuilt by three further two-storey connecting buildings which are also modulised to provide lab and office space. The areas inbetween the connections are designed as roof gardens for relaxation. There are additional experimental sites on the foyer roof.

The building is certified by the German Sustainable Building Council and is thus equipped with energy-saving technology, for example concrete core activation for heating/cooling, or passive elements such as anti-sun glass.
