Research Associate FZ-Si Volume Crystals at the Leibniz Institute for Crystal Growth (IKZ)

Dr Iryna Buchovska specialises in the development of technologies for the growth of silicon crystals. Originally from Ukraine, she realised her passion for applied physics after working in industry and completing a PhD in experimental physics at Humboldt University. She particularly enjoys translating theoretical concepts into tangible high-tech solutions that shape everyday life and she would love to spend all her time learning and researching.
