The Technology Park Berlin Adlershof showcases at “LASER World of PHOTONICS” (22.-25.06.2015, Messe München)
Berlin Adlershof, Germany's largest Science and Technology Park, will showcase itself as a successful and continuously expanding location for photonics, optics, and microsystems technology "LASER World of Photonics 2015" in Munich. WISTA-MANAGEMENT GMBH, the park's operating company, will present its high-quality laboratory, clean room, and office space at the joint exhibition stand Berlin-Brandenburg (Hall B 3, Booth 359).
Berlin Adlershof can offer companies considerable expertise in photonics and optics as well as materials systems and microsystems technology. There are over 110 active companies in these technology fields that have a strong research base and connections to a multitude of specialised, small and medium-sized companies with wide-ranging expertise. They cover the entire electromagnetic spectrum – from hard x-rays to radio waves.
We have tripled the available laboratory and manufacturing space in this cluster since 2013. Eleven companies moved into the new Centre for Photonics and Optics (ZPO), and seven existing companies expanded their premises in 2014 alone. Two manufacturers of LED lamps, „LAD Light Audio Design“ und „eco-led“, are the most recent acquisitions.
We are continously growing: Witt Sensoric, a manufacturer of light sensors for gates, is constructing a new manufacturing plant in Adlershof. Moreover, the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik as well as the Integrative Research Institute for the Sciences IRIS Adlershof of the Humboldt-University of Berlin are currently expanding by building new facilities.
