At the matriculation ceremony on 12 October 2026, the Humboldt-Universität will welcome its new students and extend a warm welcome to them as members of the university community. From 2 pm to 7 pm, guests at the Erwin Schrödinger Centre in Berlin-Adlershof can look forward to a varied programme featuring an information fair, guided tours and the formal matriculation ceremony. At the information market, key university departments, student initiatives and student councils, the Adlershof faculties and institutes, as well as non-university research institutions and start-ups from the Adlershof science park will be presenting themselves. The ceremony will be complemented by artistic performances and the symbolic enrolment.
Following the programme, all first-year students are warmly invited to end the evening at the after-party at MOPS from 6 pm. In a relaxed atmosphere, this is an opportunity to chat with one another, play games together and make initial contacts.
The event is accessible. Sign language and written interpreters will be on hand during the matriculation ceremony.
