Love Data Week 2026: Where’s the Data?
-
Consortium FAIRmat of NFDI
Love Data Week is an international celebration that promotes research data and good data practices. The 2026 edition takes place from February 9 to 13 under this year’s global theme “Where’s the Data?”.
FAIRmat joins the celebration once again with a range of online activities highlighting the importance of FAIR data in physics, chemistry, and materials science:
- February 9: Workshop “Challenges in Data Reusability”
Co-organized with DAPHNE4NFDI and the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC), this workshop will focus on shared challenges and solutions in making research data reusable. - February 10: Coffee talk “19M+ FAIR Data Entries and Growing – How NOMAD is Transforming Physics and Materials Research”
Siamak Nakhaie will provide an overview of NOMAD, a free, web-based, community-driven data platform for experimental and computational materials research. - February 9-13: Throughout the week, we will answer the question “Where’s the Data in NOMAD?” in a dedicated social media series introducing the wide range of data available on the platform.
