WINS Training & Events
The main idea of our faculty career development programme is to give effective support and to connect female early career scientists. We offer regular career development workshops and networking opportunities.
The workshops are offered by experienced trainers in English and are free of charge for the participants. Zoom links for the online events are shared after registration.
They address female doctoral candidates and postdoctoral fellows at the Adlershof campus and participating research centres.
Setting goals. How to organise your research more effectively.
Clear goals are key to navigating your academic journey and career with confidence and purpose. In this compact, interactive 2-hour workshop, you will learn how to identify your vision and turn it into actionable steps during a PhD or as a postdoc.
What we will cover:
- Why goals matter: How structured goal-setting boosts focus, motivation, and productivity.
- Smart Planning: Apply proven tools (SMART criteria & 5-step roadmap) to break down big ambitions into manageable milestones.
- Career Focus: Define clear steps to follow your future career path.
