Since 2005, HU’s Venture Service and Humboldt-Innovation have supported young entrepreneurs and startups: many successful startups can now look back on their early days spent in one of the university’s two startup Incubators (venture zones).

Those Humboldtians interested in founding their own company are supported in a variety of ways – this includes writing business plans as well as applying for funding opportunities such as the EXIST “Business Start-up Grant”. Moreover, the young and creative environment of the "Startup Inkubator Adlershof" offers an atmosphere that lends itself to the development of innovative business ideas.

After the creation of their startup, entrepreneurs are supported by Humboldt-Innovation with service packages, training opportunities as well as alumni work.

In addition to the "Startup Inkubator Adlershof", an additional venture zone is located in Berlin-Mitte (Luisenstraße 30, 10117 Berlin). Humboldt-Innovation GmbH is also headquartered in Mitte (Ziegelstraße 30, 10117 Berlin).
